Over the past weeks I have been working on a giant chocolate that I can use at events, like book fairs or readings. Since the new book is called THE CHOCOLATE CLOUDS, a giant chocolate was the best choice to attract attention at fairs.
I built the chocolate out of cardboard and paper mache and then added ceramic tiles on top of it. These tiles I created by making a clay model, pouring a mold, and then making the ceramic castings from it. Each tile was then sanded and glued to the cardboard.
In front of the chocolate there will be a pedestal that will allow me to present my books most effectively.
